Signature Events
Fun With Santa
Fun with Santa is the chapter’s primary community service event, which attracts nearly 500 children from the Jackson-Metro Area. Through this event, the Jackson MS Chapter promotes literacy by giving away children's books, supports the hunger initiative by providing food for families, and fosters healthy living through a wellness fair. Children also can win major giveaways, including bikes, gaming systems, tablets, and other wonderful prizes. Each year Fun With Santa is another opportunity to teach our children the true meaning of service. View more from Fun with Santa over the years.
Sweetheart Ball
Historically, the Jackson MS Chapter has held its biennial Sweetheart Ball, which serves as the Chapter's signature fundraising event. The 2022 event was enhanced to include both young men and young women in their junior or senior year of high school. The Sweetheart and Gents Ball signifies the coming of age of the participants. Throughout the program year, Sweethearts and Gents participate in various activities that include a Father-Son Breakfast, Mother-Daughter Tea, community service events, and a life-skills retreat. The culmination of the event is a wonderful evening of entertainment, dinner, and dancing as we present the Sweethearts and Gents to society and award them for their achievements.
